Goodbody Health CBD products, sold under the Goodbody Botanicals brand, are THC free (less than 0.01%) and are rigorously tested before despatch to ensure that they are free of solvents and other contaminants. Product labelling and packaging clearly explains the recommended daily intake, which is inline with FSA guidelines. The QR code on each label links to the website giving the Certificate of Analysis of each specific batch.

The Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) set a timetable for the Novel Food authorisation process that concerned the safe use of CBD products. Goodbody Health has welcomed the need for the clarity of a regulatory framework as an important step leading to the development of a safe and legal market in the UK for CBD.
From that, we have submitted our dossier to the guidance given and we are waiting on the Foods Standards Authority to give further updates on the status of our Novel Food submission and when the list of brands will be published.
The original date given by the FSA was the end of August but, like all brands, we are waiting on that update. Currently they do state that CBD products are allowed to stay on the market in England and Wales until that decision on their authorisation has been made.
Working within the Google restrictions for advertising, we promote within the UK and, to date, promote organically via social media with over 3,000 Instagram followers. With over 150 active subscription members already to date we are growing our customer base and followers.
